Accenture Outsourcing Report Ranks India First

In a recent report about BPO, Accenture writes, ‘India is clearly the first choice on an expanding list of offshore options, especially since it has established brand leadership in software development.”

As for BPO growth, the report claims, “All segments of BPO, whether onshore or offshore, can expect to see double-digit compound annual growth rates in the years ahead.”

For insurance companies, it asserts their survival depends on cutting “efficiency ratios from the industry average of 180 basis points to less than 100 basis points.”
